How to Add a Virtual Showroom to Your Website

Once your tour is published, how do you get visitors to it? This guide covers linking, embedding the tour in a page, using your own domain, placement and mobile considerations.

A tour is only useful if customers find it. There are three ways to connect a published Immersiq tour to your website. They can be combined.

Option 1: link to your tour

Every published tour has its own shareable address. The simplest and most reliable approach is to link to it from your site: a clearly labelled button or text link such as "Explore our showroom in 360°". Links open the tour in the browser, with nothing for visitors to install and no account required.

Option 2: embed it in a page

If you want the showroom to appear inside one of your own pages, use the embed code:

  1. Open the tour and go to the Publish panel.
  2. Tick Embed on my website and list the sites allowed to show it, one per line (for example https://www.yourbusiness.com).
  3. Save, then publish or press Update live tour. Embedding follows the published version.
  4. Copy the embed code that appears and paste it into your page.

Browsers only let the sites you listed show the embedded tour, which stops other websites from copying it into their pages. Make the frame tall enough on mobile, and keep the allow="fullscreen" attribute so visitors can go fullscreen.

Option 3: use your own domain

On the Business plan you can show a showroom at your own address, such as showroom.yourbusiness.com, with HTTPS. You add two DNS records at your domain provider, press Verify DNS in Settings, and the certificate is issued automatically. See custom domains for the steps.

Placement that makes sense for visitors

  • Home page: a prominent call to action near the top, with a short line about what visitors will find.
  • Product or category pages: a link such as "See this range in our showroom".
  • Contact or visit page: a link so people can look around before they come in.
  • Messages and social profiles: the same link works everywhere.

Use link text that describes the destination, not "click here". It helps visitors and search engines.

Performance and mobile

Tours run in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Large panoramas are resized for viewing and neighbouring scenes are preloaded. An embedded tour loads inside its frame, so give it a clear heading and consider loading it lower on the page so the rest of your page stays quick.

Keep it current

Visitors see the version you last published. After changing a scene or product, press Update live tour in the editor so the public link, the embedded copy and your custom domain all reflect it. See publish and update your tour.
