Buying jewellery is personal, and many customers want to know the shop first. Here is how jewellers can use a 360° tour while keeping prices and details under their control.

Jewellery is a high-trust purchase. Many customers want to know what a shop feels like, and what it carries, before they walk in. Product close-ups show a single piece; a 360° tour shows the store.

What customers want before visiting

Customers often want to know whether the shop is the kind of place they would be comfortable in, which collections it stocks and whether it is worth the trip. These are questions about the showroom, not about one item.

Show the showroom, not just the pieces

A panorama of your counters and displays conveys atmosphere and range. Use product photography for close detail on the pieces themselves, and let the tour provide the setting.

Counter-by-counter discovery

Photograph each counter or display as its own scene and link them in a natural route. Tag the featured pieces or collections at each. Visitors open a product card to see images and the description you wrote. If you keep hallmark or certification information, you can include it in the specifications, but only state what is true and documented.

Private enquiries

Many jewellers prefer not to publish prices. Price is optional for every product in Immersiq: leave it blank and visitors can send an enquiry about the piece or ask to visit. The enquiry records which products they selected.

Security considerations

A 360° photo captures everything around it. Before you shoot:

  • Keep alarms, safes, keys, camera positions and staff-only areas out of frame.
  • Remove paperwork or screens showing customer details.
  • Consider showing display cases with a representative selection rather than the entire inventory.

Limits

A panorama cannot convey the sparkle or true colour of a stone, so use high-quality close-up images on product cards. The tour is not a valuation, certificate or checkout tool.
