Import products from an image or PDF

In Catalogue, press Import from image/PDF to turn a photo, price list or brochure into draft products.

1. Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF (up to 10 MB; PDFs up to 15 pages). Add an optional note, such as the currency.
2. Press Read products. The cost in AI credits is shown before you start, and you are not charged if it fails.
3. Review the list. Edit names, SKUs, categories and prices, and untick anything you don't want. AI can misread text, so check against your source.
4. Press Add as drafts. Products are created as drafts (nothing is visible to visitors until you publish them). Products whose SKU already exists are skipped, never overwritten.

The file you upload is used only to read the products and is not kept. Prices are only filled in when they are clearly printed in the file.
